AGT-101 AI agents and automation

Automate a process with n8n and AI

Data entry, reconciliations, reminders, transfers between software that do not talk to each other: in two days, each participant builds an automated workflow on a real process from their own department, with a human kept at the decision points. No code to write.

Objectives

  • Map a process from their own department and identify three automatable steps using explicit criteria (volume, stable rule, low ambiguity)
  • Build in n8n a workflow of at least five nodes, including a trigger, an AI processing step (classification, extraction or drafting) and an action in a third-party tool (email, spreadsheet, CRM, WhatsApp)
  • Insert a human validation step before any irreversible action and log every run
  • Test a workflow on real cases, diagnose an error and fix it
  • Document the workflow (diagram, parameters, error cases) so that a colleague can take it over

Audience

Managers and staff in operations, administration, customer service, purchasing and logistics; general IT staff; anyone who performs a repetitive task between two software tools every week.

Prerequisites

Comfortable with a spreadsheet (sorting, filtering, a basic formula). No programming. Equipment: one laptop per participant with an up-to-date browser; a training n8n instance and test accounts (email, spreadsheet, demo CRM) provided by Yolea for the duration of the session; access to a language model provided by Yolea; for remote attendance, a stable connection of at least 5 Mbit/s, microphone and camera; a real process of the participant's, described in ten lines, with five examples of documents or emails handled, brought on the first day.

Programme

  • Process mapping
  • Designing automation workflows
  • Integrating AI processing into a workflow
  • Human oversight and traceability
  • Testing, diagnosis and documentation

Format

2 days, 14 hours. In-company on your own processes or inter-company; on site, live remote or hybrid; 8 to 12 participants. 2 consecutive days of 7 hours; remote, 4 sessions of 3 h 30 over two weeks. 25% input, 75% workshops: each participant works on their own process from the first workshop to the last.

Assessment

Beforehand, a placement questionnaire and a check of the spreadsheet prerequisite. During the course, check quizzes and a practical challenge (build a workflow on an assigned process, assessed on a grid: trigger, AI processing, human validation, logging). At the end, the participant presents their workflow, followed by an end-of-course evaluation and a personal certificate of attendance. At three weeks, a follow-up check-in on the workflow's go-live.
