IA-110 Generative AI and business uses

Strategic AI for executives

Objectives

  • Assess five AI use cases in their company with a cost / benefit / risk / lead-time grid, and select two.
  • For each selected case, define a measurable before-and-after indicator (lead time, rate, volume).
  • Decide on a presented AI project file between stopping, piloting and rolling out, and justify the decision in writing.
  • Set the minimum governance rules: permitted data, actions reserved for a human, a named owner.
  • Write a twelve-month AI roadmap: three workstreams, budget, milestones, owners.

Audience

Executives, executive committee members, department heads, IT directors; in open enrolment, leaders of small and mid-sized companies.

Prerequisites

Hold budgetary or decision-making responsibility in the company. No technical skills. No required equipment: a computer or tablet to view the materials; for remote delivery, a stable connection, microphone and camera. Participants bring the list of their five processes that cost the most time or money.

Format

In person preferred; in-company (executive committee) or open enrolment (business leaders); 6 to 12 participants. Duration: 7 hours, 1 day; remote, 2 sessions of 3 h 30 one week apart.

Assessment

Beforehand, a placement questionnaire (maturity, ongoing projects). During the course, a decision case study corrected as a group. At the end, the roadmap presented and assessed against a grid, an end-of-course evaluation and a named certificate of completion. At three weeks, a follow-up review.
